Summer Series
Today’s post is part of the Splash Into Summer series put together by a great group of bloggers. Each week the participating bloggers we will be sharing seven posts related to a specific summer theme. This week’s theme is Water Fun!

Emma loves to swim in her pool we spend quite a lot of time in the water in the summer. My little noggin got to thinking when I saw a sensory bath tub on pintrest..I thought I could do this in the pool! So we went to the dollar tree and picked up pool noddles, sponges, cups ,Water balloons necklaces, bracelets, bath toys, beach balls, and how could I pass up an inflatable ice cream cone!! And a whole bunch of odd and ends toys

Now my plan WAS to cut the noodles up so she could work on colors and practice counting, BUT my dear Emma is very strong minded child and did not want them cut because they would be ruined…Soooo we worked on counting and colors with the noddles whole.

She really enjoyed herself and we haven’t taken any toys out yet because she has so much fun with them. Yesterday she added some of her play kitchen items and has been playing cook..To have the imagination of a 3 year old!

The Splash Into Summer series runs from July 7 through July 27. Check out the other posts in this series from this fabulous group of mommy bloggers:

Looks like she is having so much fun! We’re at the beach this week and my little one is having a blast playing with his toys in the water! I think he’d be quite upset as well if I cut up his pool noodles! :)
