And that is What this lovely book is about! We have read it quite a few times and I plan on using it as an teaching tool when she gets in to tough situations. It also has awesome illustrations.

This is a great read for my 3 1/2 year old and I think this I a great book to add you your library.

Smitten Cloth Diaper Review

23aed08e2f658cab289a62a0ce0235d9819596b8

We use cloth diapers 50% of the time. Yes I am a slacker I know…But the lover does not do well with cloth diapers(he can’t handle the poo) so when he is in charge its pampers. I got the chance to review a Smitten Cloth Diaper..orange of course.

After the diaper was washed 5 times I plopped that bugger on Mason before he went to bed. I was so amazed on how soft it felt and we woke up with no leakage..super absorbent!!!  This is one of my new favorites the is no liners you have to remove you just throw the who diaper in the wash!! You can also add a prefold if you need to. I am thin about ordering a few more from Smitten because I like the one I got so much!

DYI Glitz Pumpkins

Fall Blog Chain      This post is a part of the Fantabulous Fall Favorites blog chain put together by a great group of bloggers. The theme this week is pumpkins. Be sure to check out all the great ideas shared at the end of this post!

I love fall it is my favorite time of year!! One of my favorite thing to is decorate pumpkins this year I made a glitz pumpkin! We carve pumpkins for the outside but I like to decorate the ones for inside. Hear is a quick DYI.

photo 5

Supply’s:

  • Pumpkin- I bought a fake one at hobby lobby
  • Black spray paint
  • Super glue or hot glue gun
  • Rhinestones
  • Either rhinestone adhesive letters or Vinyl letters

photo 2

Spray paint your pumpkin black or you can buy a fake black one.

photo 4

Using a glue gun or super glue apply the stones to the stem. Now this is very tedious it took me a few hours to do it because I took a few breaks.

Apply your letters to the your pumpkin and you will have a super cute glitz pumpkin. If you have a daughter anything like mine this will be a huge hit!

It’s time to mand down the house

Good Afternoon Guys,

After some long discussions with the Lover for the past few weeks I have decided to slow down my blogging…I’m not going away forever only 1 or 2 posts a week for a little while.

Tim has started training for a higher up position which leaves me to man down the house from 4am until 7pm and when he gets home of course we want to spend family time. During the day I am either at home with Mason Mister adventures or at Emma’s school for meetings (I am the president of the parent meetings and on the policy committee). I am a busy busy lady!

My family is very important to me and if the means I need to take some time away from something I love to do(blogging) for them to do the things they need to do to better our lives then I have no issues hanging low for awhile.

My goal is to post 2 good posts a week but there will be times when I can only get to 1. And For all my blogger friends I will try to stop by and say hey every now and then.

I will miss you all greatly I loved everyone stopping by and getting to know a lot of you. Hopefully after the new year I can get back on track when Tim is done with his training.

-Nicole

“Angels” Children Book Review

DSC03263

Angels – Children’s Book by Alexis York Lumbard Illustrated by Flavia Weedn

Emma loves “Angels” I think I have read it over 20 times in the last month! And I have to admit it is a really cute book. It is short and sweet but had the most beautiful illustrations I have ever seen!

DSC03264

“Did you know that angels of all kinds are everywhere? “Some are big, some are tiny. They’re all so bright and very shiny.” This lyrical, breezy, and nondenominational picture book introduces children and adults to a magical place which radiates warmth, love, and caring throughout its colorful and delicate pages.”

I give this book a A++ and I can’t wait to see if she has written any other books!
